On Saturday, a fire broke out at Evansville's Mesker Park Zoo along a grassy area of the rhino exhibit. Workers believe that an electrical fence may have sparked the blaze around 2:30 pm.
Zoo keepers managed to get the fire out before the fire department arrived. Many animals in that area were evacuated, but none were hurt.
Investigators are trying to figure out what happened.
