Kapuki is an Eastern Black Rhinoceros at the Great Plains Zoo. And today, she celebrated her first birthday with her mother and an excited crowd. The zoo visitors couldn't wait to see Kapuki take a bite of her birthday cake.
The President of Great Plains Zoo, Elizabeth whealy says, "It was a lot of fun to see the mother rhino and the baby Rhino be very cautious about the cake then knock off a few strawberries then get really get into the cake."
Even Mayor Dave Munson dropped by to wish Kapuki a happy birthday. She's an endangered species, and is one of 65 Eastern Black Rhinos in the U-S.
