Catskill rhinos head west to find sanctuary

  Boom Boom adjusts to life in Arizona while Jack finds a home in Pacific Northwest

Like many upstate New Yorkers who have reached their golden years, Boom Boom the southern white rhinoceros is retiring to Arizona.

  Jack, his pen-mate from the Catskill Game Farm, will move to the Pacific Northwest.

Both animals will live out their days in wildlife sanctuaries, according to the company that purchased them last month from the game farm.

And, in a bonus for fans of the rhinos, a Web cam has been trained on each animal's new habitat, giving Capital Region residents a way to stay in touch.
